This bakery is the best bakery out of all the bakery's around. They have these little pies cream puffs was out of this world. The ladies who work there are very nice gal's. If I could give more than 5*s I would of. And we will go back I'm a hour and a half away. We found this bakery on line. They let us use the phone after locking our keys in our car. Very nice of them to let us use there phone.

Fresh made baked goods at very reasonable prices. The ancient grain bread is to die for. I may have to nab a couple more loaves before heading back home!

Pie bites are a fun treat, the nut caramel rolls are good, and the sourdough bread makes great toast. You can't go wrong...there's something for everyone. And it's really fun to watch little kids try to decide what they're going to pick from the display cases.

These lady's are great! Highlight of my work trip to Alexandria. Best cheese danish around.

Great baked goodies!

Got an 8 inch round birthday cake, chocolate. It was dry, dense and only the frosting had any flavor. Very disappointed. Will never buy there again!

I love it very much! Certainly I recomend it to everyone! German chocolate doughnuts are so wonderful. Not a fan of coconut, but it's one of my absolute favorite! Many breads, cookies, monkey bread, granola, and homemade baked goods. I wouldn't skip going past Roers bakery anytime.

Love it, I get the best cookies and bread every morning with a 75 cents coffee for half the price in any other place, with the best flavor on everything and the best friendly stuff .You will not find anything better in the morning.

Roer's Bakery is a extremely long time staple of the Alexandria community and June and her staff treat everyone like family.All of there baked goods, cakes, cookies and Doughnuts are simply amazingly awesome as are there prices.

I love this bakery! Its the same as when I was a kid 40 years ago when it was Brauns! M & M cookies are the best!

Best bakery I've ever been to.

I was really enjoying the items offered here, but the woman's cold demeanor really turned me away. I thought maybe she was having a bad day when I said hello and smiled and just received a blank stare, but the next time I went and had a question about what something was topped with, she coldly replied crushed cookies. I excitedly responded "oh are they Oreo bits?" She said "uh no I just told you crushed cookies." Ok! Lol it was the same attitude every time so I decided to be done with the place.

They make this little rye buns that are to die for, and have several rhubarb pastries, like a pie bit and torte. The pie bites are great, they're actually 3-4 bites, like a mini pie but flat, and the cookies are good too. My dad loves the creme horns, the filling is unique because it's almond.

Great local artisan breads! Specialty cakes and standard doughnut flair. I have seen some wild and experimental treats there too. I'd say the creativity runs wild in the head bakers mind. From the conversations I've had with him, I'm convinced he could easily handle any custom order, I'm sure he'd love the challenge.

Best baked goods out of any place I've been to. It's even a big part of why I'm moving back to the area. Pretty sure they cure depression

My favorite bakery and go to place....excellent donuts....rolls...bars..breads....cookies....not enough stars for how great it is.....reminds me of the bakery I use to go to as a child.....the family that owns it ....u cant say enough nice things they are excellent and really get to know their customers
